In the last week we have had a huge influx of new items. It’s been great sorting through everything. And the big story in The Vintage Room is glamour – lace, silk and velvet!
This includes the gorgeous cafe au lait lace blouse on the model. Something which can fit into any wardrobe and be worn many ways – from denim cut-offs to a full evening skirt. Here it has been paired with a black pleated vintage maxi skirt from Dereta – another item which will fit into any wardrobe and can easily be worn many ways. The outfit is topped off with a goldstone vintage 1980s necklace from Monet to demonstrate how mixing and matching decades works too.
And on the stool next to the model you will see one of our lovely croc 1950s handbags with cute same era scarf to add individuality. Again items which can add just an element of individuality and vintage glamour to any outfit!
But as any girl knows, the one item which is guaranteed to add glamour to any outfit is sunglasses. And these genuine vintage Gucci sunnies are a perfect example!
Well that’s a taster of what we have but this intake included a fantastic vintage Janice Wainwright dress and two almost space age white Vintage 1960s dresses. So it’s no wonder we feel spoilt for choice right now!!
